For further proof that autumn is great and we bros, I just got another story acceptance last night, this time from The Quilliad! Their launch party for Issue 8 is happening Saturday October 22 in Toronto, so if pub food and listening to people read stories is your jam, come join us at 7:30 at Betty’s (240 King Street East) for filling your stomach and ear holes!

In novelette news, I realise I should have been calling Becoming Beast a novelette rather than a novella all this time (WHOOPS), but otherwise things are going swimmingly. The cover’s complete (and completely lovely, can’t wait to show it off), print runs are being discussed, I’m going to get a proper author photo done… holy hell it’s like I’m legit professional now, what.

Now I have to fold laundry and put bedsheets back on the bed and organize the Hole of Paper Bag Hell and make room for my new reusable food containers. This is a very glamorous lifestyle.
